Heart-pounding action. Only towards the 2nd half of the movie, though. “Haeundae” is a beach in the city in Busan, South Korea, where thousands of tourists flock to every year. The beginning of the movie lets you delve into the lives of the characters in the movie and leaves you caring about them, hoping they’ll survive the tsunami tragedy that hits the southeast coast of South Korea. I’m not much of a movie critic, but there might’ve been at least someone in the movie that a viewer might relate to. The special effects were near Hollywood standard and the acting was just okay.
