South Korea Burger King Murder File Reopened

ProtestorsThis is a story about a murder of a South Korean university student 13 years ago.  He was found dead on a bathroom floor at a Burger King in Itaewon, a popular nightlife destination in Seoul for mostly foreigners and U.S. military personnel.  22 year old Cho Chong Pil was stabbed multiple times in the neck.  The crime has gotten the attention of many activist groups who despise the presence of the American military in South Korea.  They protest against American soldiers going there acting like they are superior to the Koreans.  And the last 40 years of crimes by American servicemen is why the people don’t trust them anymore.  Although there were two suspects who spent some time in jail, the murder still remains a mystery, according to this article in Time Magazine.
